While
the summer months continue with bird-watching, the St. Ambroise Provincial
campground attracts numerous tourists with its sunny beach and plenty of camping
sites.
The fall is fast paced with the waterfowl hunting season. The many lodges in the
area are booked months in advance with hunters eager to make the most of the
season.
The
winter continues to bustle with ice fishing and snowmobiling complete with a
cross-country poker derby for the snowmobile enthusiasts.
The St. Ambroise Community Centre hosts a number of events throughout the year.
The annual Mètis Heritage Festival in
One of the main highlights of the year is the Annual Saskatoon Berry
Festival in July. With the area famous for its rich July berry picking season, the
Community Centre built a whole Festival around the lush berry. Some of the
events in the Festival include a Community Youth Ambassador contest and the annual
Community Centre events continue into the fall with the Annual
Children’s Halloween Party in October. With the snow season comes the annual
Snowmobile Poker Derby, which also includes a children’s snow sculpturing
competition in February.
Our
community looks forward to hosting you while you enjoy our diverse seasons and
fun events throughout the year.

details of all events are available by contacting Wilf Lavallee, Chairperson on
